Seared and Baked Salmon
This Seared and Baked Salmon recipe is so quick to make and the results are truly restaurant worthy with its crispy, tender deliciousness.
Servings: 2 servings
- 2 4 oz Salmon filets With skin on
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 Tsp Sea salt Himalayan Pink preferred
- 1/4 Tsp Pepper
- 1/4 Tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 Tsp Smoked paprika
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Lightly brush salmon filets with some of the olive oil and add the remaining Tbsp into an ovenproof frying pan.
Mix sea salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika in a small dish, then sprinkle spice mixture over flesh side of salmon filet.
Heat frying pan with olive oil over medium high heat. When hot, add salmon to pan flesh side down. Allow to cook 3-4 minutes undisturbed until browned and slightly crispy.
Turn filets over and place pan in preheated oven. Bake 4-5 minutes longer.
Serve warm with lemon and parsley for a garnish, if desired.
