Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz Bag Whole Cranberries
  • 1 Cup Cranberry Juice
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks Broken in half
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Large Granny Smith Apple Peeled, cored and diced
  • 3/4 Tsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Rinse cranberries well and add them to a medium sized saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add cranberry juice, cinnamon sticks, sugar and apples.
  • Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove 1/4 cup of cranberry liquid to a bowl. Add 3/4 Tsp of cornstarch and whisk until smooth.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture slowly back into the cranberries and stir to incorporate. Continue to cook another 5 minutes.
  • Pour into serving bowl and allow cranberries to cool on counter.
