- 1 16 oz Bag Whole Cranberries
- 1 Cup Cranberry Juice
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks Broken in half
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Large Granny Smith Apple Peeled, cored and diced
- 3/4 Tsp Cornstarch
Rinse cranberries well and add them to a medium sized saucepan over medium heat.
Add cranberry juice, cinnamon sticks, sugar and apples.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove 1/4 cup of cranberry liquid to a bowl. Add 3/4 Tsp of cornstarch and whisk until smooth.
Add the cornstarch mixture slowly back into the cranberries and stir to incorporate. Continue to cook another 5 minutes.
Pour into serving bowl and allow cranberries to cool on counter.
