This little jewel not only cooks six eggs very quickly, but my favorite feature is that hard boiled eggs are so much easier to peel than the eggs you boil in a pot. One reviewer said the eggs practically fall out of the shell on their own.
If your favorite chef loves smoked foods as much as I do, they’ll love this Oster Roaster. They’ll be able to smoke a whole turkey up to 20 pounds! Not only is this a smoker, but it’s also a roaster, for those times that you needs an extra oven. Plus it’s a slow cooker. Three appliances in one!
I went on a European cruise that had the most exquisite Espresso machine that also made Cappuccino and Lattes. It was huge and amazingly beautiful. And I’m sure it was very expensive. But when I saw this Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista, it reminded me of that wonderful espresso maker on the ship. The beauty is that this fabulous machine does everything the large espresso machine did in a very compact size.
This slow cooker is manufactured by the original Crock Pot company and their quality has lasted through the years. I especially like this crockpot because of its’s size. At 16″ long and 10″ high it can easily handle the largest roasts or chickens. Plus another feature is that this one has a locking lid- a great option when you want to take your cooked food on the go. Finally, it has a built-in programmable cook time from 30 minutes to 20 hours. When the cook time is up, it immediately turns itself to warm. That’s some smart Crock-pot.
A chef relies on his knives and those knives have to be sharp. It just makes life easy. Unfortunately, the more you use the knives the duller they get. So enter the Kitchen IQ Edge Grip. This little space saving tool can easily sharpen all of your knives in record time, which helps speed up prep time.
I have used a milk frother for ages. It was a whim to buy it, but now I use it everyday. It just makes coffee more fun to drink when it’s frothy. I know it’s silly, but I love it. So I bought one for a friend and she loves hers too. Simple things make life fun!
Wonder if your favorite chef loves grilled food as much as I do? Outside grilling is great, weather permitting, but it’s also pretty messy. I can’t begin to tell you how many barbecue cleaning tools I’ve had and none of them ever do a great job. Then there’s the charcoal mess. So when you’ve finally had enough, it’s time to move grilling indoors. To me there’s no better indoor grill than this Griddler. I’ve had mine now for over a year and I can tell you honestly I use it at least once a week. Because it has a searing feature, it creates perfect grill marks. A perfectly grilled steak can actually cook in 3 1/2 minutes! It also creates perfect paninis, and when you flip the grill to a solid surface it’s also is great for eggs and pancakes. Ah, then there’s the clean – up which is so simple. I just wipe the grill off with a wet paper towel. It cleans up in a moment. The grill plates are also dishwasher safe.
The best appliance that’s come out in a while is the Instant Pot. This 3 quart Ultra model is actually 10 appliances in 1. First, it’s a pressure cooker, where cooking time for food is drastically reduced. And who doesn’t need that in this busy world? But this model is also a slow cooker, a rice maker, a steamer, a warmer, and even a sterilizer. But wait, there’s more. It can double as an oven to bake a cake, and it even makes yogurt. Your favorite chefs will wonder how they ever got along without one!
Large stand mixers are the standard in a lot of kitchens, but when you don’t want to go through the mess of cleaning it, then it’s time to pull out the ever-faithful, low maintenance hand beater. It’s small, so easy to use and when you’re finished the beaters just go into the dishwasher. Black and Decker is a name that we’ve been able to trust for years. And this model has Helix beaters. What’s that? Super engineered beaters that not only whip your food up in record time, but these beaters are made of nylon. No more of that awful grinding noise on the side of the bowl. Plus, this model comes with two dough hooks and a wire whisk. The old hand beater has definitely grown up.
Interested in guilt free food? Who isn’t! Well, this is what air flyers are all about. Think of using an air fryer to make french fries that saves 75% of fat calories over the traditional method of frying. That’s a lot! But it does so much more than just French Fries. Think of Low Cal crispy golden air-fried chicken. Or crispy chicken wings. But it does so much more. Think of low cal crispy roasted vegetables. This is really a great gift for a chef who loves fried foods but still is health conscious.
Does your chef love to make muffins, but hate it when those muffins get stuck in the pan? Not only are the muffins ruined, but then it’s time to clean that pan. What a mess. So, now the problem is solved. Enter the Silicone Muffin Pan. Those perfect muffins just pop right out – no mess, and clean up is a cinch. When the chef’s happy, everybody’s happy!
Cuisinart is a name that’s been around forever – and their reputation is stellar. If your favorite chef loves waffles as much as we do, this is the waffle maker of his or her dreams. There’s nothing like the deep grooves of a Belgian waffle to trap butter and syrup. When you take your first bite of a crispy, deep waffle laced with butter and syrup that’s so tender in the middle, well you’ll never go back to regular waffles again.
Does your favorite chef love Mexican food? Make life easier for them with this Quesadilla maker. With it’s six-portion divided wedges, it makes perfect restaurant-style quesadillas in just 5 minutes. Perfect lunch and perfect appetizers.
Oster has come up with yet another winner to create low cal, low fat meals that are totally healthy. Think of the delicious possibilities. Steamed lobster or shrimp. Delicious steamed vegetables. And my favorite steamed Dim Sum. And the best part of this steamer is it’s dual shelves. You can steam two different foods at the same time, so a complete dinner can be done in just this one appliance. And the best part is it’s dishwasher safe, so clean-up is a snap.
Fondues are just fun. And Cuisinart does a great job with their electric fondue maker. Other than the social aspect of having fun with friends and family, this fondue pot can do everything from soup to dessert. Literally. Soups or broths are a wonderful way to cook meats. Then you have the traditional cheese fondue, with bread or vegetables dipped into the creamy, delicious cheese. Of course you have to save room for dessert. And that would be chocolate. Deep, dark, delicious chocolate that you dunk your strawberries or cookies into.
No chef’s kitchen is complete without an ice cream maker. How many times have you seen the chefs on Chopped run over to the ice cream maker to incorporate unusual and wonderful foods into a rich and creamy dessert? This Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker also makes frozen yogurt and fantastic sorbet!
Chefs absolutely love fresh herbs to liven up their dishes. The old fashioned way to break these herbs down is with a mortar and pestle. I’ve used my morter and pestle for years for spice blends that I love. I have favorites, like the pork rub that I learned about at the Culinary Institute in Napa. It’s a simple rosemary, sage and fennel combination that just pops. My trusty morter and pestle has ground that great herb blend many times!
